Description
With dual drivers and more battery life, Shokz has evolved their compact running headphones. Just like the 1st generation the OpenRun Pro 2 are forgettably comfortable. DualPitch technology uses 2 different drivers to focus sound into your ear and through bone conduction technology. The sound profile has been upgraded with special focus on the mids and highs, making vocals and podcasts sound even better. Dual bass enhancers let you feel your playlist. The OpenRun design has proven itself, with users loving its comfort and stability when on the move.
- Bone conduction sends sound vibrations directly to your inner ear. This leaves your ear canal free and clear, letting your music be the soundtrack to your world, not all that you hear
- TurboPitch™ 10th generation bone conduction technology refines the high and mids while still featuring the thumping bass from the 9th generation, producing the best sound yet
- DualPitch™ technology reduces felt vibrations while improving sound quality
- Dual noise cancelling microphones help remove noise pollution, making voices crisp and clear
- 4 preset equalizer profiles (standard, vocal, bass boost, and treble boost) along with 2 customizable profiles let you personalize your listening session
- Titanium band is lightweight, strong and provides an even, comfortable pressure
- Bluetooth 5.3 is easy on your battery, and provides a faster, more secure connection
- IP55 water resistance isn’t bothered by sweat, rain or anything else Mother nature might throw at you
- 12 hours of playback or 10 days of stand-by from a single 1 hour charge
- Quick charge gives you 2.5 hours of music with just a 5 minute charge
- USB-C charging fully charges in just 1 hour
- LED power indicator lets you know how your battery is doing
- Integrated buttons let you answer calls, control your music and more
- In the box: headphones, carrying case, USB-C charging cable and documentation

Honestly. Just meh!

The entire internet seems to be screaming about how awesome these headphones are but I'm just not getting it. I'm not an audiophile, but I appreciate when things sound good. I wouldn't expect open ear headphones to have the best sound quality, but I'm still somewhat surprised at how poor it is. I think it comes down to the design, which despite "bone conduction", is still really just a tiny speaker near your ear. Crank these suckers all the way up and whatever you are listening to will still be drowned out by machine noise around you at the gym. But then also, crank them all the way up in a quieter environment and everyone around you will be able to hear what you are listening to. Forget about using them on a plane for instance. They are made for running but - and individual experience may vary - they tilt backward as you run so the speaker ends up in a sub-optimal position. Also. They are bloody expensive for what they are. I guess if you need to hear what is going on around you while you listen to stuff, e.g. people trying to talk to you when you have earbuds in, then these allow for that. So whatever. I'm underwhelmed.
No, I do not recommend this product.
